StudyLens started in 2024 when our founder watched his sister — a Grade 11 student — spend more than 3 hours every Sunday handwriting flashcards from her Life Sciences textbook.
We built a quick prototype that took a photo of her textbook and spat out flashcards instantly. Her grades jumped from 58% to 81% in one term. Then her friends wanted it. Then her teachers.
Today, 2,400+ South African students use StudyLens daily. We're still tiny, still based in SA, and still obsessed with one question: how do we make studying genuinely easier?
